A couple of years later my brother (who would grow up to be a Hollywood makeup FX artist) attached a squib (a balloon full of fake blood and a firecracker) and used a starter’s pistol to shoot me in the front yard as I pleaded for my life. The neighbors were horrified and almost called the police. I was hooked.

Since then my career has taken me all over the country and around the world in all disciplines: theater, film, commercials and more.

I was around 8 years old when I got my first role in a stage version of Shel Siverstein’s “The Giving Tree”. Somehow, when I walked onstage for the first performance, I had no concept that there would be an audience watching me. I immediately saw my parents in the crowd and broke into laughter. This caused the audience to laugh at me, which only made me laugh harder and get us all caught up – essentially breaking the play. I squeaked out my lines, walked offstage and knew that there wasn’t anything else that I wanted to do with my life.
